Shea Beasley is a microbiologist with a PhD in the health effects of species-specific lactic acid bacteria in animals and humans. Her particular interest is in restoring host microbiome by dietary choices and selecting probiotic strains with the right metabolism for each indication. She is also academically active and finds publishing a good way to make a difference. She lives on a small farm with a horse and a pony, dogs, cats, and Åland sheep.
