Bio

Lydia is the director of operations at 3DPets. Similar to our co-founders Alex Tholl and Adam Hecht, Lydia also attended Thomas Jefferson University where she studied industrial design with a medical device concentration and business minor. Where her experience varies is that she focused her studies on veterinary applications and worked alongside prominent surgeons in New York to develop anatomically correct models of liver shunts that were 3D printed for veterinary students to learn on. After she graduated, she took a short hiatus to pursue emergency medicine as an ER veterinary technician where she met her pup Trip who had been discarded due to being born with congenital ectrodactyly as a result of poor breeding practices and is now a tripaw. Lydia still works part time as a technician at a general practice but realized her skillset and knowledge would be perfectly suited to the goals at 3DPets and joined the team to help revolutionize veterinary mobility devices using additive manufacturing alongside Alex, Adam, Trip (the company mascot), and the rest of the 3DPets team.
