Bio

I am an older veterinarian who following graduation became interested in improving recognition and treatment of animal pain. While this took me in the early 90s into the world of veterinary anesthesia, I eventually migrated into the world of veterinary rehabilitation and sports medicine, boarding in both. I have worked in private practice, academia and research, finally splitting my time between two positions at a wonderful multi-specialty small animal hospital in New Haven, CT called Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine, and an academic-like specialty hospital in NYC known as Animal Medical Center. Both jobs have allowed me to interact with clients and pets having unique needs, mostly in the neuromuscular and orthopedic sectors (sports and working dogs), but we do see a variety of chronic geriatric internal medicine patients (pain management) as well, which has brought me to Alex and Lydia at 3DPets. I am very happy to be of help with their important endeavors into designing and defining mobility solutions for small animal patients.
