Fifteen years ago, The Webinar Vet was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to make veterinary education easier, more accessible, and more affordable for busy veterinary professionals. Established in 2010 by Anthony Chadwick (BVSc CertVD MRCVS), The Webinar Vet was born from Anthony’s own experiences as a small animal vet, struggling to attend CPD meetings after long, exhausting days at work. He knew there had to be a better way – and so, he pioneered online veterinary CPD.

At that time, no traditional veterinary CPD providers had ventured into online learning. For a whole year, Anthony was alone in the space. But it didn’t take long for vets and nurses to see the benefits – and The Webinar Vet quickly became a trusted name in the industry.

Today, we stand proud as the world’s leading online veterinary CPD provider, with over 3000+ hours of high-quality webinars covering everything from emergency medicine to dentistry. More than just a platform, we’ve built a global community dedicated to lifelong learning, support, and professional growth. And now, we’re thrilled to celebrate our 15th anniversary with you!

How It All Began

Anthony’s vision was clear: to help his fellow veterinary professionals complete CPD in a way that fits around their busy schedules. By eliminating travel time and reducing costs, online webinars revolutionised the way vets and nurses accessed continuing education. What started as a single webinar on ‘Itchy Dogs’ has grown into a vast library of resources that cater to all areas of veterinary medicine.

Over the past 15 years, The Webinar Vet has achieved some incredible milestones:

• Launched the first-ever veterinary webinar, ‘Itchy Dogs’ in 2010

• Introduced online veterinary sponsored webinars

• Expanded CPD content to 22 languages, making education accessible worldwide

• Became a Certified Carbon Negative company

• Reached over 3,000 webinars hosted

• Launched advanced courses and refresher CPD courses

• Introduced The Webinar Vet Jobs, the UK’s fastest-growing veterinary recruitment platform, helping vet surgeons, nurses, and practice managers find their ideal roles or recruit top veterinary talent

• Planted trees: for every membership bought two trees are planted

• Plastic-free initiatives and litter pick days

• Wildflower meadow planting near our office
